Coaches - What to do next

As the coach you set the standard for your team’s behaviour:

• Be a good role model
• Abide by your sports Member Protection or other welfare policy and Codes of Behaviour.
• Undertake training to further understand your responsibilities to prevent discrimination and harassment
• Do not ignore or trivialise inappropriate behaviours by your team.
• Address any inappropriate or unacceptable behaviour as soon as possible after the event.
• Support any team member who is subject to harassment or discrimination.
