• Ask your club’s management committee to provide guidelines on this issue.
• Provide any girl and her parents/guardians with this information and use the guidelines to help you determine what to do.
• Understand that even with guidelines each request should be treated on its individual merits.
• Inform all team members of any inherent risk in playing the sport.  If it’s a contact sport, explain the nature of the contact and the risk of injury to both the players and the parents/guardians of the players and have them sign a consent form.
