Please find attached the September edition of the Play by the Rules e-Bulletin.

The finals are upon us and everyone is keen to get game time, but as we know, that doesn't always happen. Take a look at an article which shows how everyone can get a fair go. Finals are also a time of celebration, where passions run high on and off the field. We feature two pieces which reaffirm how there is no place for abuse in sport and show how to get the balance right between keeping the celebrations fun, but still safe and legal.

This month's issue also highlights a number of new and updated sports websites and draws attention to a few high-profile campaigns which have just been launched: Racism. It stops with me; Not to Homophobia; and an Anti-Hate campaign. Play by the Rules is a supporter of all of these campaigns, which focus on preventing racism, homophobia and discrimination and we encourage sporting organisations and individuals to get on board and spread their messages.

There are plenty of event, seminar and conference updates; grants and awards information; and a focus on a couple of great programs involving Cricket Australia and the Hawthorn Football Club.

We also promo a range of Play by the Rules goodies, including our new easy-to-seach resources section, downloadable posters and cards for your club rego packs or to put up in your clubhouse or stadiums; and logos we can sent you to place on your website which link directly back to our website and/or our free online training.

Here's hoping your team plays well (and safely and fairly).
