“Play by the Rules is crucial for participation I think, whether it’s racial abuse or people saying things to them that might upset them, it’s just not fair and it will probably turn them off the game.

So it’s vital that we keep the game clean so we can get the participation rates up as high as we can.

Kids don’t want to go out there and hear crap from other kids, they just want to get out there and have fun and see that the other team’s having fun – and if both teams are having fun then everyone is having fun.

Then you can walk off the field with no regrets and not go away with some silly memories of someone saying the wrong thing.”
