“I think it’s absolutely critical that all of us who are custodians of sport, and that can be parents as custodians with their children playing, or officials and coaches, we have to make sure that the environment for those young people, in terms of their development, is safe, encouraging and positive and it’s our responsibility to make sure that happens.

Play by the Rules offers everyone some terrific, useful information and education, and re-emphasizes the fact that it must be fun, it must be safe and it must be positive.

We all know the attributes that kids learn when they’re playing sport, so it’s critical that we all share the responsibility of maintaining a safe environment for children.”
