This is where Play by the Rules can help you get up and running with some basic policies and guidelines your club should have. The template policies are a minimum standard, which you can use as a starting point. Your club may wish to implement something more detailed, in which case we have provided links to other programs that you may like to review. 

Articles

Play by the Rules articles address a wide range of issues that impact on safe, fair and inclusive sport. The majority of these are custom articles produced by us for the website or the online magazine. You are free to browse and use any of the articles below. Scroll down to see which ones interest you.

Play by the Rules Online Magazine

The Play by the Rules magazine is a free online magazine for people interested in safe, fair and inclusive sport issues. The magazine comes in three different formats - a Flip Book with embedded media, a PDF version with links and a plain text version. The Flip Book version of each magazine is only available for 12 months following publication.

Interactive Scenarios

Play by the Rules has developed short interactive scenarios on topical issues and challenges occurring in sport. These scenarios let you explore your understanding and beliefs about issues as well as provide practical tips about inclusive, safe and fair sports practices and procedures.

Audio Files

Play by the Rules has a large network of ‘champion’ sports men and women that support safe, fair and inclusive sport. They have provided us with some great messages in the form of audio files you can download and use on your own website and for promotional purposes.

ebooks

We have a diverse and increasing range of digital books you can download for free. These range from reference books, such as the Quick Reference Guide, to transcripts of forum presentations or collections of articles published through the Play by the Rules magazine. 

Infographics

Download your free infographics addressing issues that impact on safe, fair and inclusive sport. Infographics are a great way to highlight an issue or topic in a simple and visual way. Print them, use them in articles or post to social media - you choose. 

General posters and postcards

We have a range of free downloadable posters, flyers and postcards that are print ready. We cannot send out hard copy resources but these are ready for you to print. Many also have a space to insert your own club logo.

Learn from sport and recreation organisations that are implementing safe, fair and inclusive programs. What did they do? Why did they do it? How did they measure success?
