Failure to comply not only exposes them to legal action but, more importantly, may endanger members or expose them to unnecessary risk and harm. The following three sections provide an overview of sport and the law as it applies to discrimination, harassment and child protection. You may want to talk to State/Territory sport and recreation agencies, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity agencies, and State child protection authority about these issues.
