I’ve been banned from playing on my team because I’m pregnant.
I’ve been playing netball for 15 years, and played in the first couple of months of my pregnancy before. I’m only 6 weeks along. I thought our club position is that it’s okay to play.

Can I have a word with you, off the record?

One of the guys on my team called me a piss weak faggot when I dropped the ball at practice yesterday. It’s not the first time that this sort of thing has happened and I’m getting a bit sick of it. I don’t want to talk to my coach and I’m really only comfortable talking to you but I want this to stop.

My 9 year old son seems to spend more time out of the game than other kids. I don’t think it’s fair. Aren’t kids meant to get equal time in a game? I’ve tried to talk to the coach, who I’ve always got along really well with but he doesn’t seem to understand my point of view.

I turned up early to collect my daughter from her under 16 training session, and heard the coach telling them that they were bloody useless and that they’d get wiped off the court by the opposition.... He’s usually pretty good so I was a bit surprised to see him so angry. I got copies of the code of behavior at the start of the season so I know that he shouldn’t be losing it like that. I don’t really want to take it up with him but something needs to be done.

I found a  message on my daughter’s phone by accident. It looks like it’s from her coach, Dave. I’m concerned that she might have a crush on him.. …. I flicked back and there are heaps of messages – it looks like its been going on for months.

I’m really worried – my daughter is only 15 and Dave is a bit older. My daughter won’t listen to me and I’m not comfortable discussing it with Dave? But something needs to be done.

This is really hard to talk about. I play mixed netball on Tuesday nights. Our coach asked me out for coffee after the game last week. He seemed like a nice enough guy and he’s been coaching us since I started playing three years ago.

But when we went out for coffee… he was pretty inappropriate – flirty, but sort of dirty flirting… Anyway, I figured it was time to go home and he walked me to my car… he tried forced me into my back seat and sexually assaulted me.

I don’t know what to do.
