The Play by the Rules and Proud 2 Play Creating an LGBTI+ Inclusive Club is a free, interactive online training course suitable for coaches, administrators, officials, players and volunteers. It was developed in partnership with South West Sport and VicHealth.

The LGBTQIA+ community is a diverse community representing people of varying sexualities, gender identities and sexes. This course, developed by Proud 2 Play in partnership with Play by the Rules and VicHealth, provides an overview of how you can address barriers to the LGBTQIA+ community's participation in sport, recreation and physical activity.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Recognise the benefits of LGBTQIA+ inclusion for sporting clubs.
  • Use LGBTQIA+ inclusive language in your sporting club environment.
  • Identify and address barriers to LGBTQIA+ inclusion in your sporting club environment.

Users who successfully finish the course and the assessment quizzes can print a certificate of completion.
