The Handling Complaints in Community Sport eLearning course aims to support presidents, committee members and nominated complaint handlers in community sport to effectively handle complaints as they arise.

This course focusses on providing tips and strategies to handle grievances and complaints that don’t need to be escalated, whilst providing options for when more formal processes should be activated.

Handling Complaints in Community Sport will guide you to understand:

  • The context of complaints
  • Interpersonal qualities of effective complaints handlers
  • How to respond to complaints
  • Assessing the options
  • Informal and formal processes
  • Record keeping and resources
