Who are DISA and what is the DISA Community of Practice (CoP) Series?

The Diversity and Inclusion in Sport Alliance (DISA) is a national alliance of diversity and inclusion professionals seeking to work collaboratively to promote diversity and inclusion in sport and create a cohesive and welcoming sporting community throughout Australia.

DISA is committed to driving lasting change by fostering collaboration, valuing lived experience and cultural knowledge, and promoting shared leadership across the sporting sector.

The DISA Community of Practice (CoP) Series aims to build the skills, confidence and practical capabilities of individuals and organisations to create safe, equitable and inclusive sporting environments. It offers a collaborative space that bridges theory and practice, providing participants with tools, strategies and peer support to strengthen their work and drive positive change in sport.

Who should attend?

The CoP is open to all practitioners who are working to create, or supporting others to create, sporting environments that are safe, fair and inclusive. Participants do not need to be directly employed in the sport sector.
