Play by the Rules offers Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) training. The course is delivered across 2 parts consisting of an online course (Part 1) and a face-to-face (or virtual face-to-face) session (Part 2). Both parts must be completed to become a recognised MPIO.

The online module is a free, self-paced course. You can enrol in the course via Sport Integrity Australia’s eLearning Platform.

The face-to-face (or virtual face-to-face) session is delivered by state and territory providers, or directly through some National Sporting Organisations. See the training calendar below for details about enrolling in a Part 2 session.

    Venue Sport and Recreation Victoria has engaged Vicsport to deliver a number of courses tailored to the sport and recreation sector. The next course is planned for June 2025.
